Description
The Driver Apprentice trains with a WM Driver and/or WM Driver Trainer after obtaining a Commercial Driving Permit to safely operate a commercial refuse or recycling vehicle and provide customer service. The role includes vehicle inspections, route completion, customer communication, incident reporting, and either operating the vehicle or assisting with loading, unloading, hoisting, and backing maneuvers. Applicants must be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, able to communicate in English, and hold a Class C or D driver's license; a high school diploma or GED and a CDL permit are preferred.
