Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to report to a Journeyman Electrician and assist with substation construction, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of low- and high-voltage equipment. The role includes working with transformers, circuit breakers, switches, voltage regulators, capacitor banks, protection and control systems, SCADA, HMIs, and RTUs, as well as installing and documenting power cabling, performing inspections and testing, and maintaining test reports. The position requires electrical or PSE trade indenture, knowledge of electrical utility and occupational health and safety codes, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, the ability to work at heights, and successful drug, alcohol, criminal, and background checks. Schedule rotations vary by project, with overtime paid at time and a half after 10 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
