Rising Edge Group is hiring an Electrician Apprentice to report to a Journeyperson Electrician and assist with substation construction, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of low- and high-voltage equipment. The role includes working with transformers, circuit breakers, switches, SCADA, HMI, RTU, power cabling, ground grids, and structural steel, while developing work scopes, procedures, and test reports. It is an on-site position at the DOW Chemical Facility requiring 48 hours per week, with a Monday–Thursday 10-hour schedule and an 8-hour Friday. The position requires electrical or PSE trade indenture, knowledge of electrical utility and occupational health and safety rules, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, drug and alcohol testing, and the ability to work at heights.
