Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a PSE/Electrician Apprentice to assist a Journeyperson in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing low- and high-voltage substation equipment. The role includes working with transformers, circuit breakers, switches, SCADA, HMI, RTU, power cabling, ground grids, and structural steel, while following safety practices and maintaining test and maintenance reports. The position requires an indentured electrical or PSE trade, Alberta electrical and occupational health and safety knowledge, a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license, the ability to work at heights, and successful drug, alcohol, criminal, and background checks. Schedule rotations range from 4 days on/3 days off to 14 days on/7 days off, with standard 10-hour workdays and overtime opportunities.
