Description
SpaceX is hiring an Apprentice Fabrication Technician – 2nd Shift to support ground support equipment and infrastructure for Falcon and Starship engine, stage, and component testing. The role involves building, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pumps, tanks, valves, plumbing, high-pressure systems, pneumatic components, and structural test equipment; collaborating with engineers; maintaining clean and inspected materials; and supporting engine and structural test programs. The position requires an associate’s degree or two-year technical school certification, hand-tool and blueprint-reading experience, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, work at heights up to 300 feet, and availability for travel, overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts. The schedule is 1:30 PM – 12:30 AM, with flexibility required.
