GAP Group is hiring one Apprentice Fitter for its Plant & Tools division in Lewes, Brighton. This permanent full-time apprenticeship lasts three years, runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 5:00, and involves servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing components, checking systems, calibrating instruments, and learning electro-hydraulics and computerised control systems. Apprentices under 18 work a maximum of 39 hours per week and start at £16,224 per annum; apprentices over 18 work a maximum of 42.5 hours per week and start at £17,860 per annum. Applicants need at least four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, an interest in plant machinery and engineering, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
