MACO is hiring an Apprentice in Metal Engineering – Toolmaking and Construction Engineering at its Salzburg headquarters. The four-year apprenticeship begins from September 2026 and involves manufacturing production tools from steel blocks, including die-casting and stamping tools and fully automatic assembly machines. The apprentice will work with design, process engineering, and electrical engineering teams, manufacture components on conventional and CNC tool machines, assemble and commission subassemblies, produce tools from trial production through product release, and improve tools when needed. The first-year gross apprentice income is €1,071.00, paid 14 times per year.
