Description
OTTO FUCHS is hiring a Machinist apprentice to produce and machine precision components using conventional and CNC machines. The apprentice will set up and operate machines, program and optimize CNC programs, manufacture parts through turning, milling, and grinding, monitor production, perform quality control, and inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality. The standard apprenticeship lasts 3½ years, with vocational school attendance once or twice weekly in the Berufskolleg für Technik (BKT) in Lüdenscheid and practical training in the workshop and other departments. Applicants need Fachoberschulreife, good grades in mathematics, physics, and technology, and strong spatial reasoning and mathematical abilities.
