Description
Kepak Athleague is recruiting an Apprentice Fitter to join the maintenance team in a busy beef and lamb abattoir plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the apprentice will assist with repairing industrial production equipment, conveyors, packaging machines, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulics; support preventative maintenance programmes; monitor machinery; perform real-time repairs; document maintenance work; and follow safety policies. The role requires interest in industrial machinery, welding, air automation, and hydraulics, along with flexibility, communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
