SOUTHLAND Transportation is hiring an Apprentice Mechanic (Automotive or Heavy Duty) for its Saskatoon operation. The role involves maintaining and repairing buses, diagnosing equipment problems, responding to breakdowns, performing seasonal maintenance, documenting repairs, and coordinating with shop management. Applicants must be registered as a 2nd-, 3rd-, or 4th-year apprentice, have a clear criminal record, own hand tools, hold a valid driver’s license, be fluent in English, and have analytical, troubleshooting, and computer skills. Overtime and weekend availability may be required. Compensation is $31.50, $36.00, or $40.50 per hour depending on the apprentice year, with benefits after a three-month probation period.
