thl is hiring a fixed-term, full-time Apprentice Mechanic to support its New Zealand rental vehicle workshop. The role involves assisting with servicing, maintenance, basic repairs, diagnostics, and part replacements under supervision, while completing formal automotive apprenticeship training. Applicants need a full driver licence or the ability to obtain one, current or willingness to undertake a recognised automotive apprenticeship or equivalent NZ Level 3 or 4 training, strong English communication skills, flexibility for public holidays and weekends, and their own tool kit. Previous light commercial vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential.
