JEA is seeking an Apprentice Meter Technician to join their Meter Services team. This is an eight-year, 8,000-hour apprenticeship program designed to train individuals in AC/DC network analysis, digital fundamentals, electrical/electronic control systems, analog circuit analysis, microprocessor fundamentals, and microcomputer systems troubleshooting. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing, calibrating, and repairing electric meters and associated equipment, requiring 24/7 availability. The role involves periodic performance assessments and adherence to safety regulations.
