Description
Iredell County is hiring a full-time Paramedic Apprentice for its Emergency Medical Services Department. The role responds to emergency calls, provides advanced life-support and patient care, transports patients, documents care, maintains emergency vehicles and equipment, and mentors newer employees. The position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement contributions, and other benefits. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, hold North Carolina EMT certification, pass a criminal background check and drug test, and have a valid driver’s license.
