Description
The Apprentice Security Installer works under the observation of a Lead Installer, receiving hands-on training while assisting with security, access control, fire alarm, CCTV, and integration technology installations and service. Responsibilities include installing field devices, troubleshooting systems and electronics, pulling and installing low-voltage cable, and installing support structures in new and retrofit commercial construction environments. The role requires basic electrical and mechanical skills, familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints, comfort with electrical testing equipment, the ability to follow safety protocols, and reliable transportation for travel. One year of electrical experience is preferred, and compensation is $18–$34.
