Description
Kautex Detroit offers three 4-year registered apprentice tracks: Electrician, Machine Repair, and Machinist. Each program combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction at Macomb Community College, pairs apprentices with journeyperson mentors, and provides full-time OJT pay, tuition coverage, UAW membership, and employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement coverage. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent, pass a fit-for-duty physical and drug screening, and pass an aptitude test.
