Description
The Aquatics and Safety Coordinator independently manages the daily operations of the Titan Recreation Center pool and aquatics program, supervising 18–20 part-time student employees, developing aquatic programming, overseeing Red Cross training, conducting safety and risk-management activities, maintaining compliance, preparing budgets and reports, and supporting marketing and special events. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, recreation, or a related field or equivalent education and experience, one year of related experience, and current American Red Cross lifeguarding, instructor, and water-safety certifications, with additional certifications and background checks required within six months of hire.
