Description
The Assistant Aquatic Manager trains and leads lifeguards and recreation program staff, oversees the safety of aquatic facilities and lifeguard programs, instructs water safety and first aid classes, maintains pools and equipment, performs cashier duties, generates reports, and maintains facility records. The role is based at Bartlett Pool West and West Pool in Anchorage, Alaska, with work schedules that may vary from Monday through Sunday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Applicants must meet one of three education-and-experience pathways, hold current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications, and complete background checks; the position is open to the general public and current Municipal employees.
