Description
The Aquatics Coordinator supports the Director of Aquatic Operations at the YMCA of Montclair by coordinating and supervising daily aquatic programs, swim lessons, classes, events, staff, volunteers, pool operations, safety, certifications, and facility maintenance. The role also provides hands-on lifeguarding, swim instruction, deck supervision, coaching, training, and member-service support. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of aquatics experience, current or obtainable lifeguard and instructor certifications, and the ability to work in a humid aquatic environment. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with pay up to $23.00 per hour.
