Description

The HOME Project (THER) is seeking a full-time Arabic Interpreter for a 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension. This role involves facilitating communication between unaccompanied minor boys residing in the Center for Accommodation of Unaccompanied Minors (C.A.U.M.) and both internal teams and external entities like public bodies. The interpreter will ensure accurate and objective interpretation, maintain strict confidentiality, and participate in organizational meetings.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Prior relevant professional experience or certification or training.

It provides shelter in 13 homes in the center of Athens and a comprehensive framework of child protection services, while facilitating children’s integration into society. Since 2016, 1,600 unaccompanied minors have benefited from its support. The organization reports 300 jobs, and half of its staff are members of the migrant and refugee community, including former beneficiaries.
