WSP is hiring an Arborist for its Ontario team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role combines field and office work and involves tree inventories, assessments, tree protection and removal permits, tree-impact assessments, report writing, policy development, Species at Risk interpretation, tree preservation and restoration plans, and guidance on tree-protection implementation. Candidates need relevant ecology or landscape education, at least three years of consulting arboriculture experience, ISA Certified Arborist designation or progress toward it, CAD experience, strong tree identification and assessment skills, project-management ability, and knowledge of municipal tree by-laws and conservation authority regulations. The position operates under a hybrid model and offers $66,500–$92,800 in Ontario.
