EMH&T is recruiting a temporary Archaeology Field Technician to conduct Phase I, II, and III archaeological fieldwork, including shovel testing, surface collection, data recording, and reporting results. The assignment is based at the Columbus, Ohio office, expected to begin in late September or early October, and last 10–12 weeks. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, prior fieldwork experience, and familiarity with prehistoric and historic artifact identification. The role pays $23.00 per hour, includes lodging and a $65.00 per diem for non-local projects, and requires physical work in outdoor conditions across Ohio and surrounding states.
