Description

The Archeologist will serve as a cultural resources specialist and compliance coordinator for Katmai National Park and Preserve, Aniakchak Monument, and Alagnak Wild River. The role includes overseeing fieldwork and data collection, inventorying cultural resources, conducting archaeological surveys and test excavations, processing artifacts, managing collections, preparing field records and reports, and using GPS and GIS. It is a permanent career-seasonal appointment with benefits similar to permanent appointments, work primarily during the May–September season, and a closing date of 10/07/2026.
