The employer is hiring one full-time Software or Solution Architect in La Lucia, Durban, South Africa, for an on-site, five-day-per-week role. The position focuses on hands-on architecture for complex distributed software systems, including end-to-end design, integration and API decisions, architectural documentation, technology validation, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and engineering mentorship. Candidates need 8–10 years of progressive software engineering or architecture experience, at least three years of direct solution or software architecture ownership, cloud-native and Kubernetes experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
