Description

Echodyne is hiring a Principal Architect, Manufacturing Test Engineering to define the architecture and technical roadmap for manufacturing test systems supporting multiple radar products across NPI, prototype, pilot, and production phases. The role leads test strategies, automation, instrumentation, data architectures, calibration, traceability, yield analysis, and continuous improvement while partnering with R&D, manufacturing, quality, software, hardware, and supply chain teams. It requires a technical engineering degree and 15+ years of electronics manufacturing and test experience, with a stated annual salary of $180,000–$224,000 USD for full-time, US-based employees.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Ph.D., M.S., B.S., C.S., or equivalent engineering degree in a technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and test
Technical leadership driving manufacturing test projects from design to deployment
Designing and developing manufacturing test hardware and software solutions across product integration levels
End-to-end manufacturing test strategy design from component and board-level tests to full system-level testing
Experience with test instrumentation, data acquisition, measurement systems, and production test equipment
Defining testability and manufacturability requirements for electronic products
Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of RF circuits and radars
General project management skills
Linux/Unix experience
Previous experience with radar manufacturing processes
Knowledge of statistical process control, measurement system analysis, and Design of Experiments
Experience with machine vision, robotics, automated inspection, or AI/ML-based manufacturing test
Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025, or other applicable quality and calibration standards
Experience with cloud-based manufacturing data architecture
