Description
HDR is seeking an Architectural Technologist for its Calgary office to support the planning, design, documentation, coordination, and construction administration of architecture projects across water, resource, federal, and building engineering sectors. The role involves leading technical documentation and building-envelope and interior detailing, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants, performing QA/QC reviews, and working on projects such as transportation, healthcare, science, data centres, water treatment facilities, and advanced manufacturing plants. Candidates should have 8–10 years of related experience preferred, or a technical degree or at least 3 years of related industry experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D coordination, Microsoft Office, architectural contract documents, specifications, and sustainable design practices. Candidates without an Architectural Technologist designation will be titled Design Technician 2.
