SMMA is hiring a full-time Architecture Intern in its Cambridge, Massachusetts office. The role supports architectural projects from schematic design through construction documents, develops design concepts and technical solutions, prepares presentation packages and reports, coordinates with structural, civil, MEP, and specialty consultants, and applies knowledge of building systems, construction methods, project delivery, and sustainable design. The intern should have a bachelor’s or professional degree, at least three years of professional experience, familiarity with BIM-centered workflows, and be pursuing architectural licensure; a master’s degree and sustainable accreditations are preferred. The position offers a $65,000–$85,000 annual pay range, hybrid work, and benefits including paid time off, dental coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
