Description
Americhem is hiring an Area Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to provide multi-site leadership across two North Carolina facilities. The role oversees EHS systems, safety culture, regulatory compliance, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, performance metrics, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR. The position may be based at either facility or between them, requires consistent on-site engagement, and allows up to 50% travel. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant EHS or industrial safety discipline and at least five years of progressive EHS experience are required.
