Description
Xcel Energy is hiring a Southwestern Public Service Company Area Engineering Intern to support the reliability, safety, and operation of the electric distribution system. The intern will work with experienced engineers on outage investigations, CEMI/DEMI analysis, protection and coordination studies, capital projects, field visits, and utility engineering software. The role is intended for a May 24, 2027 start date, with a possible extension based on performance and business needs, and requires a current student pursuing an electrical engineering degree. The anticipated base pay is $21.20 to $24.60 per hour, with pension, 401(k), paid time off, and holidays listed as benefits.
