Amazon is hiring an Area Manager for its Last Mile division at a logistics hub in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture. The role plans and manages shipment schedules, delivery routes, sorting, shipping, shift schedules, attendance, and task assignments for several dozen staff, while coordinating with assistant staff and a Senior Area Manager. It also focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. The position is shift-based and includes day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, basic computer and Japanese business-language skills, and at least three years of coaching and team-leading experience.
