Flexport is hiring a full-time Area Manager to lead operations and a team of 30–100 people at an inaugural fulfillment center in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The role manages floor processes, safety and compliance, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving performance, defect rates, troubleshooting, escalation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates need at least two years managing staff of five or more, logistics or warehousing experience, SQL reporting experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work physically demanding shifts, including overnights and holidays.
