Flexport is hiring an Area Manager to lead a process and a team of 30–100 people on the operating floor of a fulfillment partner. The role manages policies, safety and OSHA compliance, security, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving performance, defect rates, SLAs, troubleshooting, risk escalation, and operational improvements. Candidates need at least two years managing staff of five or more, logistics or warehousing experience, SQL reporting experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. The US base salary range is $64,800–$81,000 USD, with medical, dental, and flexible time-off benefits.
