Description
Ocado Logistics is hiring an Area Manager to lead and support warehouse or logistics operations in a 24/7 environment across day and night shifts. The role focuses on team leadership, health and safety, employee engagement, training and coaching, performance management, KPI delivery, warehouse operations, food safety, investigations, housekeeping, and continuous improvement. The position requires prior management experience in warehouse or logistics, strong communication and numeracy, knowledge of health and safety and performance management, and familiarity with computerized warehouse management and reporting systems. The role involves shift and weekend work, extended standing and walking, lifting up to 30 kg, use of protective equipment and mechanical handling equipment, and work in temperatures from 30°C to -30°C.
