Description
OnTrac is hiring an Area Manager to manage sort activities and volume within an assigned area at its DeSoto, Texas facility. The role reports to the Operations Manager, supervises Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers, schedules and staffs the team, monitors performance and attendance, conducts pre-sort meetings, manages departures and arrivals, and performs safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting. The position is onsite Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a starting base pay range of $54,400 to $68,000 and potential base salary up to $81,600. Candidates need a GED or diploma, at least two years of logistics, shipping, or 3PL experience, one year of leadership experience, data and Microsoft Office skills, and experience hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and evaluating employees.
