Description

BAE Systems is hiring a Saudi-national Armament Intermediate Maintenance Workshop (AIMW) shop role within its Typhoon Maintenance Organisation in Taif. The position is responsible for workshop compliance, continuous improvement, component repair activities, personnel guidance and welfare, equipment readiness, maintenance quality and airworthiness records, safety and FOD surveillance, and support for operational readiness targets. It requires a relevant NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC-level technical qualification or apprenticeship, at least five years of post-qualification relevant experience or completion of the BAESSA apprenticeship programme, equipment-specific training, aircraft maintenance knowledge, human factors and safety awareness, and Saudi Council of Engineers membership.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: NVQ3, ONC, OND, or BTEC-level qualification in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience with formal workplace-applied training, or successful completion of the BAESSA apprenticeship programme.
Relevant aircraft maintenance and engineering experience or knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant equipment-specific training.
Broad aerospace and defence industry knowledge.
Understanding of BAESSA engineering operating procedures.
Saudi Council of Engineers membership at the appropriate level, maintained throughout employment.
