Description
Ochsner is hiring a Healthcare Security Officer to protect patients, guests, and employees; enforce safety and security policies; conduct inspections; investigate incidents; perform building lockdowns; participate in emergency response and drills; and maintain required certifications. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of security, law enforcement, or military experience, BLS, a valid driver’s license, crisis-prevention and firearms training, and IAHSS certification within 90 days of promotion or hire. The position is on-site in a healthcare setting and may involve exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications.
