Armed Security Officer Full Time at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital/StaffCo is responsible for providing a higher level of protection for staff, patients, and visitors through armed patrols, safeguarding hospital assets, participating in fire control, and investigating/documenting security incidents. The role requires an active New York State armed security guard license, firearms requalification, a valid pistol carry permit for a 9mm, BLS certification within three months of hire, a driver’s license, and prior law enforcement/security/fire safety experience. The position is on-site at Southampton Hospital in East Hampton, New York, on a variable full-time schedule, with hourly pay of $34.52 to $36.01.
