Description
The ARNP Nurse Practitioner will provide mid-level practitioner services to geriatric patients in sub-acute skilled nursing facility and residential care settings. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation and management of acute, episodic, and chronic conditions, collaboration with physicians and other care-team members, independent diagnosis and treatment, medication prescribing, interpretation of diagnostic tests, discharge planning, patient and family education, care coordination, and participation in quality improvement and precepting activities. The role requires prior skilled nursing facility or nursing home experience, averages 36 hours per week Monday through Friday, and is based in Olympia or Lacey with possible float to Tacoma or Silverdale.
