Description
The Art Therapist will work onsite at Victory I, a domestic-violence shelter and recovery facility, helping residents overcome emotional, mental, and behavioral difficulties through art therapy. Responsibilities include arranging therapy sessions, providing age-appropriate art therapy to children, guiding clients through creative expression, maintaining a wellness-oriented environment, documenting support and referrals, and providing crisis intervention. The role requires a master’s degree and Limited Permit (LP-CAT) or License (LCAT) in art therapy or psychotherapy, plus two years of experience working with victims of domestic violence and their families.
