Description
The Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical engineering services for the Zinc Products facility and its customers, with a primary focus on specifying, designing, and managing capital projects that improve plant equipment and processes. The role also supports production, maintenance, laboratory, and building-and-grounds operations through equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, modifications, outage planning, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience, along with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, facility auxiliary equipment, process control systems, and CAD software.
