Tunnell Government Services is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Subject Matter Expert to provide contracted support to BARDA in Washington, DC. The role advises leadership and technical teams on AI, machine learning, and advanced data analytics for vaccine and therapeutic development, evaluates AI-enabled technologies and algorithms, guides application design and validation, contributes to AI governance and standards, and advises on data curation, clinical validation, production deployment, and maintenance. Candidates need an advanced degree in a relevant field, 15+ years of vaccines or therapeutics development experience, 8–10 years applying AI/ML in healthcare or health security, and expertise in algorithm development, data modeling, AI governance, and medical or biological data.
