Paracel Laboratories is hiring a full-time, permanent Asbestos Analyst in Ottawa (West) to analyze asbestos-containing materials using Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM). The role involves sample preparation, detection, identification, quantification, data management, quality assurance and control, laboratory maintenance, and occasional extended hours or weekends. Candidates need post-secondary education in a relevant science field, attention to detail, manual dexterity, computer proficiency, and experience with PLM or PCM analysis is an asset. The position pays $18.50–$21.00 per hour and is based at 25 Northside Rd, Unit C, Nepean, Ontario.
