Description
Paracel Laboratories is hiring an Asbestos Analyst for a full-time, permanent, on-site role in Mississauga. The position analyzes asbestos air samples using Phase Contrast Microscopy and Polarized Light Microscopy, prepares fungal and bacterial materials in a Level 2 biohazard laboratory, manages workflows and data, and maintains quality assurance and quality control programs under ISO 17025. The role requires post-secondary education in a relevant field, attention to detail, manual dexterity, computer proficiency, and the ability to work extended hours and weekends; prior asbestos characterization experience is an asset. Compensation is $18.50–$21.00 per hour, with benefits and additional programs.
