Description
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse - Admit, Recovery, Discharge (ARD) provides nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include preoperative assessments, medication and IV administration, patient education, recovery monitoring, discharge planning, documentation, equipment checks, emergency response, and collaboration with physicians and care teams. The role requires an accredited nursing school graduate, Illinois RN licensure, ACLS certification within 90 days, and CPR certification within 30 days; three to five years of nursing experience is preferred.
