Description
The ASC Nurse Assistant supports staff in the ambulatory surgery center, gastrointestinal, and pain unit by providing direct patient care and maintaining clean, stocked admitting and recovery areas. Duties include assisting with patient recovery, discharge, transfers, wheelchair transport, stretcher and recliner preparation, inventory and linen management, oxygen tank stocking, and compliance with incident reporting, OSHA, training, privacy, and customer service policies. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current American Heart Association CPR certification, physical ability to lift and transport patients and equipment, and preferably three to five years of clinical or medical experience.
