Description
The Registered Nurse - ASC OR/ARD provides professional nursing care for surgical and endoscopic patients, including pre-operative assessment and teaching, Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, discharge planning, and post-operative follow-up. The role reports to the Nurse Manager-Operative Services, requires Illinois RN licensure, and requires PALS, ACLS, and CPR certifications within specified timeframes. Three to five years of comparable nursing experience is preferred, and the position involves exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potentially hazardous materials.
