Description
The Registered Nurse-ASC OR provides professional nursing care to surgical and endoscopic patients in an operating-room setting. The role includes circulating and scrub duties, intraoperative and recovery support, sterile technique, medication administration, instrument and supply management, specimen handling, equipment checks, and compliance with safety, privacy, and clinic policies. The nurse reports to the Nurse Manager-Operative Services and must hold Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, complete CPR certification within 30 days of hire, and obtain ACLS certification within six months. Three to five years of comparable nursing experience is preferred.
