The Paraprofessional at Alabama School for the Deaf works closely with teachers to support students who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, and multi-disabled. Responsibilities include direct assistance, specialized physical aid, student monitoring during suspensions, event transportation, campus duties like lunch, bus supervision, activity assistance, instructional support, staff relief, administrative tasks such as grading and filing, effective communication, teamwork, and crisis management.
