Description
Synopsys is hiring an ASIC Digital Design Architect in Markham, Canada, with the role open to candidates across Canada and eligible for hybrid or fully remote work. The position designs and architects high-speed SerDes IP for Ethernet, PCIe, SATA, and USB PHYs; defines digital and analog interface specifications; drives clock-domain-crossing, synthesis, DFT, and low-power design decisions; collaborates with verification on testplans and coverage; performs gate-level simulation and timing and power analysis; and mentors junior engineers. The role requires a master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of hands-on digital ASIC design experience, and strong Verilog or VHDL, CDC, synthesis, DFT, and verification skills.
