Description
Synopsys is hiring a Staff Engineer for its SerDes PHY IP firmware team in Seongnam-si, South Korea. The role is a senior individual-contributor position focused on firmware design and development for SerDes PHY IP supporting PCIe, Ethernet, and MIPI M-PHY; firmware startup, calibration, and adaptation flows; firmware–hardware debugging; silicon bring-up; customer issue resolution; firmware tools and documentation; and firmware integration. The position requires a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 8 years of related experience, and hands-on assembly-level firmware development for embedded controllers or custom PHY sequencer ISAs.
