Meta is hiring an ASIC Engineer specializing in architecture, performance, and modeling to define and drive architectural performance analysis, pre-silicon modeling, and microarchitectural exploration for custom infrastructure ASICs. The role develops C++ and Python models, low-level machine learning workloads, benchmarking frameworks, and performance analysis methodologies; partners with architecture, RTL, physical design, software, and systems teams; leads technical reviews and performance modeling roadmaps; and mentors engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of ASIC or silicon engineering experience, including 5+ years in performance modeling, microarchitectural analysis, or pre-silicon simulation.
